“A challenging, rocky, rolling trail traversing the middle section of Snowmass Mt. Ski Area.”

Fall Colors · River/Creek · Wildlife
This route is posted as an intermediate route on ski area maps and signs, but the rocky terrain will provide a serious challenge to most runners. The route starts near the Ullrhof mid-mountain restaurant (closed during summer) on its western side and ends with its meeting of the Government Trail
on the eastern end.
You'll cross through numerous ski slope meadows and dark timber forested sections, as well as a couple of small streams. The streams often flow heavily during the early summer season. The Expresso
Trail is encountered toward the eastern end, and can provide a connection the Elk Camp area of the mountain which features lift accessed trails.
