Just your average northern Jersey fire road nestled in the woods.

D. Rooney

Features -none-

  • Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • A vehicle entrance fee is charged from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.

Description

There are some great steady hills on this road. But it's useful to link up to other trail networks. There's a muddy section at the bottom of the lake that is crossable by some driftwood.

Old Coal connects Warwick Turnpike to Cherry Ridge Road, making a nice loop.

Flora & Fauna

Look out for bear prints!
