Description

This trail isn't one that you'd choose to drive to, but it adds some extra singletrack to the Betasso trail system, and makes for a nice way to do Betasso from town.

There's a small parking area just off the Canyon road (119), but it's a better idea to park somewhere near the base of 119 and run up the Boulder Creek Path.

The trail starts with a difficult climb - it's a stairstep hill with several loose sections. There is a major effort to smooth out and improve the stability of the lower section of this trail.

After the initial slog, the trail switches back several times and becomes more gradual before it crosses the road and continues up to intersect with the Canyon Loop.
