The trail as it minds its way up through El Sereno Open Space Preserve.
There are some nice, and well earned(!), views along the way. (Map location is approximate!)
Parking are at Quarry Park
Views of Silicon Valley, including Apple Park, appear off the left side of the trail.
Views of the South Bay, including San Jose, appear from a viewpoint on the left hand side of the trail.
As you approach the boundary of the preserve, a radio tower comes into view.
This gate leads back into the preserve from just outside the boundary on Bohlman Road.
