Thick willows dominate in the Jackpine River Valley, as the scenic, rugged mountains of the northeast side of the valley, are seen above.
Cresting the pass between Jackpine Mountain and an unnamed peak to the northwest, views of the rugged mountains and glaciers to the northeast come into view, including Mt. Lucifer, 10,040 ft., (center).
