There are helpful white paint trail marks on the Banzai Trail, but they are only on the west side of the trees. Great for hiking from Turkey Creek east towards the dike. But if hiking from the dike going west to Turkey Creek, you don't see them.
North end of the Power Line Ponds Trace looking west from the top of the dam. The creek can generally be crossed if the reservoir is empty and if there have been no recent rains.
The pipeline - an option for crossing Turkey Creek. It's big enough that it isn't difficult at all to walk across. The difficulty is dealing with the log jam on the east side. GPS coordinates: 29.81815 -95.58837
Banzai Pipeline crosses Turkey Creek. Use caution when crossing.
