The pipeline - an option for crossing Turkey Creek. It's big enough that it isn't difficult at all to walk across. The difficulty is dealing with the log jam on the east side. GPS coordinates: 29.81815 -95.58837
The lake on the west edge of the power line cut, from the southeast corner. The trailhead for the Banzai Pipeline Trail is on the northeast corner. The GPS coordinates at the northeast lake corner and the west end of the trail are: 29.82017 -95.57914

From parking on the west end of Hammerly, the trail west towards the dike.
There are helpful white paint trail marks on the Banzai Trail, but they are only on the west side of the trees. Great for hiking from Turkey Creek east towards the dike. But if hiking from the dike going west to Turkey Creek, you don't see them.

Banzai Pipeline crosses Turkey Creek. Use caution when crossing.
