Description

This is a series of 500' Spires that make up the heart of the Black Hills. The spires were made from an eroded granite pluton. The area is famous with climbers as a destination for dramatic summits with immense views of the surrounding country.

Dry trail in good condition. Lots of mosquitos and flies along the meadow area. They disappear as you gain elevation.
