The trail travels for 0.2 miles, then steers left onto the footpath section of the trail. It travels around the south end of Hall Pond, then loops northward along the western edge of the pond. As the trail approaches the Hall Pond Dam, it follows most of Snowmobile Primary 399 north. It follows this around the northern end of the pond and then turns left (to go back to the trailhead).
