This trail splits off the Old Main Line Trail to connect with a smaller network of trails that intertwine along the ridge line. From the western end, the first half of the trail follows a climb with steep sections and numerous cutbacks. While the second half of the trail does not have a significant overall climb or descent, it frequently takes small dips and is generally not flat. The trail is a slim singletrack that is often bordered by a steep slope to the north. This, along with the many obstacles along its path make for a difficult, and potentially dangerous hike. The east end of this trail connects with several other trails in a crossroads connection, allowing for several options for your hike.
