Aka, "The Orange Trail", from the color coded trail map, this trail can be done in either direction. Starting at the north end, it branches off from the namesake Dry Creek Trail, gently rises upward over some rollers, then has a descent over some creek crossings. It then gradually climbs for a bit before crossing a couple of gravel forest service roads, but it's well-marked in both instances.

The trail surface is generally machine-cut, fairly wide, nothing too technical at all, just a couple of shorter brief climbs towards the south end. Near the south end it can tend to get overgrown in summer. It intersects the southern end of the Dry Creek Trail about 0.3 miles before its southern end, where it meets the Loblolly Trail.

This trail, like the entire Dry Creek trail system, holds up very well in wet conditions. Note that this is a multiuse trail system also very popular with equestrians and bikers. Also note heavy use by deer hunters from mid-October to New Year's.
