Description

Christian Hollow is the middle of the three loops accessed from the Summit Trailhead. It starts from the main trunk trail at the same spot that Sweetwater ends.

It starts with a fun, somewhat winding downhill. As it runs out onto the ridge, there's a short, sharp uphill that brings you around to the other side of the ridge. The park maintains (by pruning) a nice view westward of the Cattaraugus County hills just after this turn.

After the view, enjoy your last downhill, as it is now time to regain all that downhill you enjoyed on the way out. A not steep climb brings you back up to the top at the trunk trail. Alternatively, several hundred yards before the end, you can take the cut over to Leonard Run.
