Description

Most people connect with Flying Dog via the Glenwild loop or a combo of 24/7 and either Stealth, from Kimball Jct, or Fink Again, from Jeremy Ranch.

Flying Dog adds a longer run to the many options in the Glenwild trail network. The author's preferred route is to pick up Flying Dog from Glenwild Loop, climbing the 16 exposed switchbacks, then descending down the other side through Aspens and Pines.

There is a bench at the top, around mile 2.4.

Moose and other wildlife have been 'encountered' near the pond at mile 4.1 of this route.
