Runner Notes

Narrow, rocky and rooty - some areas are eroded.

Description

This moderate trail slopes downhill, and is mostly narrow singletrack with roots and rocks (slightly eroded in some areas), as it makes its way to intersect with Rorhbaugh Trail #508. The trail is located within a very pretty area with a stream running downhill towards the larger creek, and their confluence is a good spot to have lunch or take a rest.

The trail is not exposed, making running mostly cool and shady. Head past several very small waterfalls/creeks running down to Red Creek. There is a spot where the trail intersects with Red Creek where the waters are beautiful though rocky and this is a perfect place to dip your feet in.
