This is an easy loop from the main parking area that will get you a little accustomed to the typical rocky singletracks to the west of the Park Road. Because it's close to the visitor area, it sees more traffic from runners and equestrians. But the park never seems busy, so this means you might encounter one other person.

This trail is named for Louise Merrick who donated the Bar-O Ranch to the state of Texas as the basis for Hill Country State Natural Area.
