Description

From the junction with the Teixeira trail, head south on this one-mile out-and-back through small, scraggly fir competing for sunlight. The Pablo Point trail starts high, gains more elevation and then descends steeply into a valley. The climb out is easy and before you know it you arrive at a marker for Pablo Point itself.

Unfortunately, Pablo Point (920 ft.) is a grassy opening surrounded by trees which now obscure the view. (If you plan to travel on the Ridge Trail, you can look over at the ridge that Pablo Point sits upon, you can see that it is a prominent geographic feature in the local area.) After this "summit," continue downhill until the trail ends. Retrace your steps back to Teixeira trail. Note: bikes are not allowed on the Pablo Point Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Fir, oak, coyote brush, huckleberry.
