A view of monster hill (the 3rd crux) from atop the 2nd crux. An up-hill candy-land! You'll climb to the high point on the sky-line on the left. You lose altitude while making your way to the trail visible in the lower-right.

Looking back down the trail at the top of the 3rd crux (monster hill). Note the T-storm in the distance. Time to get down fast! There must have been over 100 strikes in the distance as I descended.
