In spring this would be a waterfall. This is the Hornet Creek drainage just above where the trail crosses it. Climb up the drainage to reach the cliff tops.

Going left takes you across the dam, right takes you on a fun trail with a bridge, and straight is a dead-end.

You need only use a very, very short section of the fire-break road before joining up again with the BoSho trail visible on the left. Don't go right here unless you love car exhaust.

Upon reaching this gate, there is a spur trail to the right (difficult to see in the photo) that takes you into Dueul Creek. Or go around the gate if it's too dark and spooky to go in the canyon.

Reaching this road, don't go left onto it, or right onto it, go straight across it to find a faint trail that gradually becomes more defined.
