Need to Know

There is a parking lot for the trailhead off of Madison Ave N. For those traveling to the island by foot on the Seattle Ferry you can get to the park by following the Sound to Olympic trail all the way to Sakai Park.

Description

Sakai Park Trail is a nicely forested trail that sits on the site of a former berry farm. The trail is short but it has a pond and wetland for a tranquil setting and leaves plenty of opportunities to connect to other trails via the Sound to Olympic Trail which continues from the terminus.
