Description

This is a short, family-friendly run on a rough, single-lane dirt road. Signage discourages car travel, but you may encounter bicycles, motorcycles, or 4-wheelers. Great views of the San Juans are to be had, and the final, big waterfall is impressive.

Flora & Fauna

You'll likely see birds and an occasional lizard. Signage indicates that the area is a Golden Eagle nesting site. Sagebrush and scrub oak abound, with pinyon pine near the water.
