Overview

This run is not too tough but also a great workout. Nice views to the east and west along the way. Main highlight is the peak with views of all of southern AZ and northern Mexico.

Lots of loos rock and pretty narrow trail.

Description

The first few miles are the toughest. After that, gradual elevation gains with open views to the west. 4.7 miles from the parking lot to the Peak's trail. There is decent covering on the second half of run with some narrow sections of trail. A quick jaunt to the top. The Peak's views are spectacular. Perfect for a half day run. Bring your camera.
