Starting from Roe Campground and going counter clockwise is a steep climb and descent immediately following it, the gravel can be very loose here so watch your footing.
This multi-use wide doubletrack is popular among hikers and families with pets as it provides good access to Roe and Lumby campgrounds and the beaches near the Arrowhead Lake.
Some sections have thick roots protruding from the ground. Signage is minimal on the south and west side of the trail so it may be confusing with all the branching paths to the park facilities.
