Description

In the Bath Nature Preserve the multi-use North Fork Trail (hike and bike) provides access to the public in a way that allows for an experience of varied habitat and terrain while protecting the sensitive and unique areas. This trail not only provides daily access but also provides an education experience.

Flora & Fauna

Sensitive and unique areas remain, with limited intervention and minimal access to maintain ecological integrity in wetlands and woodlands. The prairie, scrub/shrub, wetland meadows and forest require active management to re-establish integrity and health. These sensitive areas are protected by minimizing access.
