Please follow rules and regulations of the Starkey Wilderness Park. Access and parking are within the Pasco County maintained park which has seasonal hours of operation. Gates typically close/lock at sundown.

Description

This trail forms the final section of the full 18-mile loop at Starkey Wilderness trail system. From Parking Lot #10, it will take a while to reach the start of Twisted Pine at Marker Post #37. From the end of the trail, at Marker Post #49, head north to return to the parking area.

There are no significant uphills or downhills to speak of. This trail is equally enjoyable backwards where it continues on after Marker Post #37 to Deliverance. There are bailouts along the way including the Bobcat Trail or the Powerline corridor (between Markers #36-37) which bring you back north to the main Starkey Wilderness Path.

The trails at Starkey Park are built and maintained by the SWAMP Club organization.
