From the well-marked trailhead on Corona Pass Road (good parking for several cars), the trail descends on a generally gentle grade, passing one smaller lake to the trail's destination at Corona Lake. The trail crosses several small streams and in one short section a stream has appropriated the trail. Stream sources are small snowfields and in dry years, streams may be dry by August. There is a large marmot population alongside this trail and fine wildflowers. Be aware that the Corona Pass Road is rough.
