Baker Mine Trail

After checking out the tank at the end of Red Tanks Tinaja Trail, turn right and head up the trail to Baker Mine (1.8 miles). The first half mile will be a steady uphill, and once you reach the top of this hill, the remainder of the way to the mine is downhill. Most of these trails were constructed to access mines in the local area and are now used by 4-wheelers, perhaps even US Border Patrol, so the tread is wide and easy to follow.
