Description

This portion of the Rock-n-Ridge trail extends from the intersection with the Sawmill Trail, to a T intersection. At the bottom of this fun descent, a left turn takes you to the bottom of the Crist Ridge Trail, and a right turn connects to the Mowery Hollow.

Rock-n-Ridge Trail #4 is mostly used downhill. It is debated whether this or Crist Ridge Trail is the best downhill cross country trail in the Blue Knob State Park. From the intersection with Sawmill, the trail starts as a fast doubletrack downhill. The first portion is a grassy slope. After a while, the trail makes a loose left turn then drops into a rocky section. There is then a short rocky climb. After that is a twisty, turny downhill.
