Open all year; access will depend on how much snow there is.

Runner Notes

Sturdy trail shoes will be needed and be ready for some steep climbs with some narrow sidehill action. This is more of a hike than a trail run, but you'll be sure to get a good workout.

Description

This is a steep, rocky climb that is easy to follow. Once you have reached the fork after the first mile you'll turn in a S.E. direction (right) and continue down to the Spring Run Trail and creek.

Flora & Fauna

Pine trees, deer, elk and other small critters can be found.
