The beach north of the access trail is closed March-September to protect nesting shorebirds.
Description
From the parking area, cross the bridge over the outlet of Floras Lake. The stream is quite idyllic, with reeds and stones along a narrow channel. After the bridge, the sandy path passes through some low trees, then enters grassy sand hills. Stay right after 0.1 miles to access the beach a quarter of a mile later.
