Description

The Virl O. Norton Trail begins at the Mockingbird Entrance to Quicksilver Park. The first .6 miles is flat and skirts the edge of farms and houses that are to the left of the trail. The trail then leaves the developed countryside, and begins climbing through grass and brush lands that are dotted with stands of trees. The views of the countryside south of San Jose get better and better as the trail climbs. Virl O, Norton Trail ends at Hacienda Trail.

A popular short 4.2-mile loop from the Quicksilver Park Mockingbird Entrance is Virl O. Norton Trail and Hacienda Trail that also starts at the Mockingbird Entrance.

Flora & Fauna
