Dogs Off-leash

Sheep ranchers graze their sheep along portions of this trail during the spring. It's better to avoid them completely then to chance a run-in with the sheep dogs!

Description

This trail can be taken in either direction. Starting on the southern end will allow for a net-downhill outing though, which makes the going slightly easier. Multiple 4WD roads intersect sidewinder allowing you to complete this long trail in segments or stash water/food along the way, so you don't need to carry as much.

There is no water on this trail, so bring plenty, arrange for a friend to offer support, or keep plenty stashed along the way!
