Description

At 1.1 miles, the trail enters a stretch of full sun as it makes a sharp left to lead you into a palmetto prairie. A double blaze leads left, and it’s here you see a forest of “wiggly trees” – these oaks are growing so close to each other that their trunks resemble something out of a Dr. Seuss book.
