Description

From the parking lot, follow the doubletrack trail to the far end of the lake where the trail will briefly turn into singletrack. A few sets of stairs will take you over the rock face and put you back on the singletrack. Continue on the trail and go down the opposite side of the rock face with another set of stairs.

The singletrack will continue with great views of the Snake River Canyon. One more set of stairs will take you down one more rock face, which will put you back onto ground level. Many unofficial routes branch off, so feel free to explore the area if you'd like to prolong your journey.

Once you've started to bend to the south, you'll be on the return journey leading back to the parking lot.
