Description

Starting from the mineral springs parking lot, make an immediate right after crossing over the stream using the bridge. This will take you along route 18 crossing the stream and through a marshy area before a u-turn which heads up the hill side.

This section has pockets of pines which offer soft trail and a change of scenery. Midway through you'll come to a fork in the trail, head left to stay on trail (this is marked with a sign). Emerging from the woods, you'll cross over Heritage Trail and head down a cliff side via stairs, taking you to the waterfall. This section is slippery, given it resides in the stream bed, but is unique in that sense.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers bespeckle the entire park, with a wildflower reserve in the eastern-most end of the park.
