Description

Offering a variety of views, the Coyote Pass Trail travels through a forest of saguaros offering many photo opportunities of plant life in the Sonoran Desert. At one point, the trail has a slight elevation gain as you reach a high spot between two hills. From here, you can look to the east and see Mica Mountain - which is part of Saguaro National Park Rincon Mountain District.

This trail is not as popular as other trails, so it can be narrow and overgrown in places. In addition, at the junction of the Cactus Canyon Trail and Coyote Pass Trail, the trail is washed out.
