Description

The Oak Trail begins near the Visitor Center, and at first is a steep descent. There is a ramp, though visitors in wheelchairs or with strollers will want to use caution. The trail is short, though it passes many of Hot Springs' historic sights, and this is a good way to access portions of the town from the visitor center.

The path is a good alternate route to the West Mountain Trail, and eventually ends at an intersection with the Canyon Trail. Along the way, visitors will pass such sights as the historic Levi Hospital, and the Gangster Museum. Before the trail ends, there will be a concrete bridge crossing.
