After a short 0.1mi connector trail from the parking area off NY 421 you reach a trail junction. Stay to the right on the blue blazed trail and cross the concrete bridge over the Bog River. This trail is quite obvious as recent maintenance has cleared the way just over the bridge. The trail is rather flat for most of its course with frequent undulating sections.

There is one decent hill you'll ascend and a long descent will bring you down to the shore of the Bog River. At 1.3 miles in, you'll come to an intersection. Keep right, and descend to the river. The blue blazes follow the shore and occasionally rises along a low ridge away from the river.

A nice falls are found about 2.5mi in. A side heard path will lead to the base of the falls. Be aware that this trail can be wet in sections along the old carriage road, especially under spring conditions.
