The trail follows the river closely for the majority of its length. At the end, it branches to the right of the river, where you cross a small stream before starting the climb up. You must scramble up rocks—see attached photos. No climbing gear is needed, but it is definitely challenging. At some points, the trail splits, allowing you to walk on the dry riverbed when the water is low. Most of the trail is marked by arrows—if you get lost, just stick close to the river and you'll find the trail.

Only recommend running to the stream crossing right before the climb up
