The park is open from 5AM to 10PM daily. There are no fees or permits required to park or hike here.

Description

This trail is an old road that runs through open prairie between Trail Intersections 6 and 11. It provides expansive prairie views in the winter and wildflowers in the late Spring and early summer. In the middle of the trail, near a picnic table, a short spur trail provides access to Prairie Lake, the largest lake in the park.
