Runner Notes

If you don't feel like getting your shoes dirty or it's just rained, the northern half of the trail is a safer bet.

Description

Follow the Elm Fork Trinity River up to Ray Roberts Lake on this near 10 mile trail. Works great as a long out and back or can be split into pieces by starting at the 428 Greenbelt Park trailhead. Multiple small offshoots allow for small scenic adventures to be added on as well.

Flora & Fauna

Trees cover the first section of the trail, providing nice shade. After crossing onto pavement, expect more open fields.
