Description

Get your dose of Idaho history! This trail takes you over the old ski runs on Rudd Mountain and at the west end, attacks the ridge of Rudd Mountain.

This place is famous for hosting the first chair-lift accessed ski runs in the world. The old lift is still there! You can check it out on top of the first summit of this trail, at the top of Rudd. The old lift shack, chairs and towers are a sight to behold.

For fun at home later look up the old "I Love Lucy" episode shot on-site and see the lift in action all those years ago.
