- It is recommended to use this trail if there is flooding on the east side of the Grand Prairie Loop Trail.

Description

Starting on the south side at the Grand Prairie Loop Trail intersection, the wide crushed limestone screenings trail with no shade bypasses most of the farm field and flood plain and takes you back to the prairie. The east side of the Grand Prairie Loop Trail is a natural beneficial flood plain as described in the interpretive sign east of the parking lot.
