Description

This trail departs from the parking lot and begins easily enough with two short boardwalks, but as the trail hugs the coast of Gould Lake, the trail becomes very narrow and sometimes eroded. There are too many trails in the area - and the forest is not particularly dense - for one to become lost, but sometimes it is hard to tell if you're on the trail proper.

Some sections of this trail are rather steep or slanted and it's particularly difficult in the fall because of fallen leaves, or in the winter due to snow and ice.

That said, running around the edge of the lake makes for beautiful vistas. Worth it, if you're up for more of an adventure.
