Trail shoes not required. Road shoes with decent rubber outsole will suffice.
This 2 mile trail is reminiscent of a cross country course. It starts out as gravel but turns into a closely cut grass trail across open fields. There are a few short sections of singletrack through the woods with rocks and roots, but the majority of the trail is open fields. This is a great trail for doing some off road workouts (tempo runs, intervals, etc).
