Need to Know

Portions of this trail coincide with a snowmobile trail; please be aware of snowmobilers (during the winter). Lamplighter Beach is a private beach; please stay on the trail.

Description

This trail starts from the parking area at the end of Meeting House Road. There is also a canoe launch and a small picnic area that overlooks the remains of the train trestle. It travels along the bank of the Saco River and comes out to a doubletrack.

The doubletrack, that comes in from the right, is the Pine Hill Trail. These trails coincide until the snowmobile trail turns right off the main trail. This branch to the right is also a part of the Conway Recreational Path. The main trail continues to the Lamplighter beach. From here, you'll have to turn around and head down the same trail.
