Description

This trail is a continuation of Trail 2 and Trail 4, and proceeds deeper into the forest. Part of this trail passes near a highway and there are sounds of traffic, but that period is brief. The trail passes through several different forested zones, including a pine forest and a maple forest.

There is a rocky area passed through which has a big river during spring melt, but most of the rest of the year it is dry and has interesting rocks which are good for exploring and climbing on. The trail also passes quite close to the maple sugar shack, which is in operation in March every year for Maple Madness.
