There are public restrooms near the river end of this trail and throughout the park.

There is parking at either end of this trail and can be done either direction. The other trails in the park allow you to make your own route or loop to bring you back to your car. The trailhead off of Davy Crockett Road provides access to most of the trails in the park and follows the creek as it flows to the river.

The trail is mostly level and follows the creek with some occasional obstacles in the trail dependent on weather and flooding. With that said this is a creekside trail and can flood during periods of high rain. You'll have great creek views, with a variety of flora and fauna, with the occasional wildlife appearance such as birds, deer, and raccoons. The park is small enough that you can run all the trails in a day and check out the local history in the park.
