This trail begins between campsites #8 and #9. It passes awkwardly close to both of these sites: you'll feel like you're getting into their space a little, unfortunately. Soon after you leave the campground the trail comes to the river and offers lovely views of the beautiful water.

The river is down a steep bank from the trail so don't expect easy access to the water. After a bit the trail leaves the water's edge and diminishes in value. It ends on NF-46/Breitenbush Road, but isn't clearly visible from the road. This is a nice jaunt from the campsite but nothing you need to drive to see on it's own.

Rhododendrons in June add pops of color.
