This trail begins in a small parking area off of Forest Service Road #538, and immediately drops down into Goose Creek. Once at the canyon bottom, the trail connects with the Goose Creek Trail #7865 and offers access to the creek itself. There are several beaver ponds in this area. The trail crosses Goose Creek via a fantastic wooden bridge, and then the trail ascends the west side of Goose Creek Canyon. The trail ends at Forest Service Road 2139. From there you can access Deadline Ridge, or the many forested hillsides on the west side of Goose Creek.
