Need to Know

This is an off-leash dog park. If you don't like dogs it's best to avoid.
Parking fills up very fast.

Description

This trail begins from the access road to Sandy River Delta shortly before the official parking areas (but well after overflow parking along the road). The gravel fill of this road makes it easy going for strollers and trail runners alike. You'll cross Ranch Dike Trail, Meadow Road, Ranch Dike Trail again, link up with Old Channel Trail for a bit, and then continue north to where this trail ends at the East Channel of the Sandy River. Most of the time you'll be in forest aside from near Meadow Road. This makes this trail very useful for creating loops and accessing the Sandy River.
